Lyndley Price
Lyndley Price has well earned his title of Head Marshal and is a huge presence out on the course. Always fair Lyndley aims to keep the course running as smoothly as possible and promises to make it an enjoyable game for everyone.
Recently Lyndley has founded the Old Boys competition which has been a huge success. Running every month on a Wednesday the numbers joining in are constantly growing and there have already been some star players.

News and Views from Arround the Course
Driving Range Update The new driving range is progressing steadily, with seeding about to begin with ryegrass. As of the time of this newsletter, Bermuda turf sections have been laid for the range platforms, the irrigation system has been installed, as has side protection netting. We expect it to be open early December.
The new 10th Tee has also now been completed, with mature olive trees recently planted directly behind. Our fantastic refreshment bar is the latest addition to the tenth, providing a good selection of drinks and snacks to replenish all our weary golfers halfway through their round.
Summer Texas Scramble 2005
Another very popular Texas Scramble fun event took place on Saturday 3rd September. Players enjoyed a friendly round of golf in teams of four, with a buggy, followed by a Peter Cannon BBQ and prize giving for just 55 euros.
Winners on the day were:
Nearest the pin on the 16th - Steve Bradford.
Longest Drive on the 6th - Rory Leader.
An extra special prize was created for Jonathan Goodson from Med Golf who was the proud winner of the ´Nearest the Fountain Prize´ for his big hit on the 10th!
Team runners up were “Los Granados”, Conrad, Alfonso, Jose and Roger with gross 69 and a net 58.6 score. Each player collected an exquisite bottle of red wine from Peter Cannon´s Bodega.
However the overall winners of the Estepona Golf Summer Scramble 2005 was the “Boardman Four”, consisting of Lawrence, Clive, Aurelio and Steve, who shot a gross 64 deducting their team handicap to give them a net of 56.7. Each won a crystal trophy, an Estepona Polo shirt and a bag of golfing goodies.
